One-on-One

A typical one-on-one session consists of specific sections designed for the athlete’s goals, condition, and injury prevention. A one-on-one session is an in-person, one hour coaching session. Prior to meeting, the athlete fills out a questionnaire so that the coach can prepare a customized training session.

Education – warm up – drills – workout – cooldown – stretch – preventive drills – instruction – future running plans.

typical session includes a warm up to break in the session. Warm up may consist of a light jog to get the muscles loosed up. Some dynamic stretching drills focusing on hamstrings, gluteus, shins, knees, arms, flexibility and other important areas for strength in running.

The activity will depend directly on the goals and ability of each individual. Some may use the run / walk approach, others run only and others may need coaching to get faster and stronger. I can incorporate individual plans for all abilities to include long runs, recovery runs, stress workouts, strength and flexibility and much more.

Sessions will end with light stretching and preventive drills for safety for any potential future injuries. Once that is complete we will discuss next steps in their training plan.
